Eat Smart
A healthy diet is the key to creating and maintaining a body that your best critics would kill for. Your new best friends? Fresh fruits (enjoy juicy peaches, succulent strawberries, delicious cherries), tasty veggies (try tender asparagus, yummy snap peas, flavourful greens) and lean protein (beef, chicken, fish, tofu, nuts, seeds…you pick!)
Drink More Water
Not only is water good for you, it flushes water-retaining salt out of your body.
Consistent Exercise
Proper and consistent exercise will keep your energy levels high and the pounds will seem to melt away before your eyes. Contrary to popular belief, crunches don't burn belly flab. They help tone core muscles. Try doing 30 minutes of cardio four to five times a week. Walk briskly (fast enough so holding a conversation isn't easy), jog or dance around your house. Not only will you get leaner, you'll get healthier too. The best time for exercise is usually before you start your day so afterwards your energy level will be elevated and you'll breeze through your daily schedule.
Stop Stressing
Eliminate as much negativity from your life as possible. Stress actually causes your body to store excess fat in your belly.
