No substantive changes were made to the Privacy Statement. This update was to: clarify and simplify the content to improve readability; remove reference to specific advertising partners; add information about how to manage cookies, and to indicate the addition of a children's privacy statement for certain U.S. websites.

2002 Update
No substantive changes were made to the Privacy Statement. This update was to: clarify that a company that purchases a P&G brand may obtain information about consumers who had signed up for that brand; add examples of the types of third parties that P&G may share information with if consumers give us consent, change the name of the advertising partner; and clarify children's privacy to be in line with local law, and to provide a physical address for our corporate offices.
