How hard is it to remove tampons?!
Anna says: Tampons are generally quite easy to remove and it shouldn’t hurt. Try to relax though – if you’re tense it can make removing it a bit uncomfortable. Normally if a tampon is full it should slide out quite easily as your muscles naturally loosen and let it go.
If it doesn’t come out easily or is a little painful it probably means you don’t need to change it yet as it hasn’t absorbed all the fluid it can. If more than eight hours have passed, you must remove it anyway, and try a lower absorbency tampon. On very light flow days you may have to pull the withdrawal cord a little more.
