Are you feeling low on energy this winter? Cold wintery days can sap your energy and make you feel like all you want to do is hibernate. Seeing as hiding under the duvet until March isn't possible, here are some tips, thoughts and ideas to give yourself a much-needed boost.

1. Get set for spring
Once the new year arrives, spring is on its way. If you wait for it to happen it will take longer to arrive, so try and get into the spirit early. Stimulate yourself by learning something new, planning some days out with friends and a creative pursuit.

2. Bath delights
Soothe yourself with a luxury bath. A lush, warm soak can help you forget your cares and put your stresses aside. There are so many bath salts, lotions and creams to choose from. Why not try sea salt, menthol or juniper to energise or lavender, chamomile or evening primrose to relax? Some candles around the room will add to the calm. Then relish the cosy winter's evening moment!

3. Rejuvenate
Your skin takes a beating in winter. Likewise, your feet forgotten, hands and nails need a bit more attention. Of course, your face is the priority. So pep up your beauty regime and freshen, cleanse and beautify yourself. Now you're ready to go out!

4. Indulge yourself

Here's a quick way to lift your mood. Baking something tasty will give you an energy boost, so make time to get creative in the kitchen. You don't have to be top chef and there are plenty of simple, nutritious and tasty recipes online whether your taste is sweet or savoury.
